For business owners
How do I get started with TapPayIt?
Sign up for a business account, choose your plan, and create your first limited subscription (e.g. a coffee pack or monthly pass). You'll get your own branded page and can start accepting check-ins straight away.
What hardware do I need for NFC check-in?
You'll need NTAG213 NFC tags — we can provide them or you can buy them separately. Place a tag at your counter and customers tap their phone to check in.
How do I track redemptions and repeat visits?
All check-ins are tracked in real-time in your dashboard. You can see redemption times, customer details, and how often people return.
What payment methods do you support?
We use Stripe for secure payments, supporting all major credit and debit cards. Payments go directly to your Stripe account.
For customers
How do I check in at a business?
Tap your phone on the NFC tag at the counter, or scan the QR code using your phone camera. Both are instant — no extra app needed.
Do I need to download an app?
No. Everything works through our web platform. For NFC check-in your phone's built-in NFC is all you need.
How do I see my active plans?
Log in to your TapPayIt account and you'll see all your active subscriptions, how many uses remain, and when they expire.
What if I have trouble redeeming?

Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted and we follow industry-standard security practices to keep your information safe.
Which phones support NFC check-in?
Most modern smartphones, including recent iPhones and Android devices. If your phone doesn't support NFC, the QR code option works on any device.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, at any time through your account settings. No cancellation fees.
